I have a smoothie almost every single day for breakfast. I love drinking smoothies because they are yummy, quick and easy to make, and keep me energized and satisfied. Since I don’t eat dairy, grains, or meat, smoothies are a great meal replacement. Smoothies are easily dairy-free by using tea or non-dairy milk such as coconut or almond milk. It's easy to make your smoothie naturally creamy, by using fruits and vegetables such as bananas, avocados, and mangoes. I love using tea as a base for my smoothies because it adds even more health benefits to my smoothie! Smoothies are viewed as a summer drink because typically they are served cold. During these cold winter months I drink warm smoothies. I’ll warm up either tea or coconut milk for my smoothie, then add all of my fruits and vegetables. Below is one of my favorite green smoothies. I love this green smoothie because it’s refreshing, sweet, filling, and energizing. It is a great green smoothie for beginners. Spinach and cucumber are mild in flavor, so you can really taste the fruits! My Superfood Green Tea Smoothie is loaded with health benefits such as: vitamin K, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin E, potassium, copper, omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, antioxidants, calcium, iron, magnesium, dietary fiber, and more!
