Over the past few years my hair has become more and more knotty after I shower. I tried using so many different types of shampoos, conditioners, hair masks, and hair detanglers. All of the products I was using made my hair really dry. My hair wasn't healthy because I was using products with so many different types of chemicals. I wanted to use something more natural and decided to make my own hair detangler. I knew I wanted to use apple cider vinegar as the base, because I'm slightly obsessed with the healing and therapeutic properties of apple cider vinegar. However, I didn't want to smell like apple cider vinegar, so my recipe has a few essential oils that smell great and have amazing benefits for your hair.
My DIY Natural Hair Detangler Recipe is by far the best product I've used in my hair. I've seen noticeable improvements in my hair. My hair is shiny, healthy, smooth, thicker, and grows quicker. I love that all of the ingredients are natural! Below is a list of the benefits associated with each ingredient in my Natural DIY Hair Detangler Recipe:

Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar is naturally acidic which helps to smooth the hair cuticle, encouraging knots and tangle to slip out and allowing a brush to glide through your hair more easily. Apple cider vinegar also reduces frizz, adds shine, stimulates hair growth, prevents split ends and breakage, and is a natural conditioner!

Lavender Oil
Lavender oil does more than just make your spray smell nice, it softens and conditions your hair. Lavender oil improves blood circulation, promote hair growth, and prevent hair loss.

Rosemary Oil
Rosemary oil adds shine and is good for a dry scalp. It is full of antioxidants that protect against premature graying and thinning of hair. It encourages blood circulation in the scalp and stimulates the hair follicles. Regular use of rosemary oil ensures healthy, strong, non-greasy hair.

Orange Oil
Orange oil is great for a dry scalp and dandruff. Orange oil is an excellent moisturizer and is recommended for dry, damaged and brittle hair. The vitamin C content in orange oil provides vitamins to your hair. Orange oil prevents hair loss by strengthening the hair roots and stimulating their growth. Orange oil helps the hair become thick, shiny and free of split ends.

Peppermint Oil
Peppermint oil has a cooling effect which improves blood flow, and is very useful for rejuvenating hair follicles and promoting hair growth. Peppermint oil is naturally cleansing which opens up clogged pores and encourages normal flow of skin oils, making it ideal for people with dry scalp. It also helps control dandruff associated with dry skin.
